Here in our circuit we are building IR remote and its receiver. IR sensor is very popular sensor, which is frequently used in many applications in electronics, like it is used in Remote control system, motion detector, Product counter, Line follower Robots, Alarms etc. IR sensor circuit is used to detect the presence of IR signals from electronic device.
Get idea on Infrared detector circuit diagram and working principle. The principle of an IR sensor working as an Object Detection Sensor can be explained using the following figure.
Working principle of IR sensor.
The working of the project is as follows.
As mentioned earlier, the circuit is divided into IR transmitter and IR receiver circuits. The infrared rays emitted by the IR Transmitter i. In the transmitter part, the 5Timer is . IR LED must be detected by the IR Receiver i. To make one, just remove everything on the right (starting from the IC) of the circuit diagram given below in the “How Does It Work ” section. An IR sensor can measure the heat of an object as well as detects the motion.
IR Sensor Circuit is cheap and circuit diagram easy to make. These types of sensors measures only . My first Vblog about electronics. A tutorial on How to make an InfraRed (IR) proximity sensor circuit along with detailed explanation on how the circuit works.
The sensitivity or Range of detection can be controlled by adjusting the potentiometer. This circuit can also function as an InfraRed receiver and Object detector. Infrared (IR) Motion Detector Circuit with motion detector alarm and infrared sensor.
The motion sensor circuit diagram and working is given in detail. Buzzer automatically stops after some time, as buzzer is connected to 5timer in monostable mode. This kind of Alarm can also be build Laser light, (like Laser Security Alarm Circuit ) but the benefit of using IR sensor is that IR light in invisible while Laser is visible. Although both are useful and have different . Explanation of how the circuit works is also included in the video.
This article discusses about Infrared Sensor Based Power Saver Circuit , power saver device, PIR, construction and testing, Infrared radiations applications.
