An angle with measure between 90 and 180

Thus, it is between degrees and 1degrees. The following is an obtuse angle. Obtuse Angle , is greater than ° but less than 1°. An angle measures the amount of turn. Straight Angle , is 1° exactly.

This diagram might make it easier to remember: Also: Acute, Obtuse and Reflex are in alphabetical order.

In this case, we say that the arms OA and OB are perpendicular to each.

Therefore, ∠AOB shown in adjoining figure is °. A protractor can be used to measure the size of an acute angle (between 0º and 90º) and an obtuse angle ( between 90º and 180º ). Learn the different types of angles , classified by their size and shape. Two angles are supplementary if the sum of their measures is equal to 1degrees. Question for Measuring angles in degrees.

You have probably heard of acute and obtuse angles. My question is, what is an angle that measures 425 . Read off the number from this scale at the point where the other side of the angle crosses the protractor. Measuring obtuse angles ( between and 1degrees) works exactly the same way. It may be that some protractors have only one scale, with zero on both ends and in the middle.

Angles can be either straight, right, acute or obtuse. Learn how to draw acute, right, and obtuse angles with given points. You just have to have really accurate ways of measuring . Well if we know this angle right over here, if we know the measure of this angle is degrees, we know that that angle is supplementary with this angle right over here.

Two angles , measuring degrees and degrees, are complementary because their sum is degrees, as shown in the diagram below:. These are similar to complementary angles , except their sum is 1degrees. What is the name of an angle whose measure is between 1and 3degrees? Please remember that an acute angle is not an angle whose measure is less than degrees, but instead an acute angle is an .
